BARCONOMIS BEETLE’S LESSONS TO LIVE BY is similar to the playful social commentaries of Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein, as well as the whimsical poetry of Joyce Armor and Bruce Lansky.

A book by any other name just isn't the same

Barconomis Beetle’s Lessons to Live By  is comprised of 64 poems and stories of varying lengths and complexity and is accompanied by over 100 pages of original pen and ink illustrations.

The poems/stories are humorous and filled with adventure, focusing on a problem or moral dilemma that the readers usually find themselves in the middle of.  Barconomis appears throughout the book as a mentor and a guide, leading the reader along the straight and narrow.  The book introduces advanced vocabulary within the poems and provides kid-friendly definitions at the bottom of the pages.
