“The Steel Heart” - book three of the Usagi Series

In this third and final book of the series, Ricky’s mounting concerns for the wellbeing of his grandfather and his temple peak when he is unable to solve the last Heart Scroll. To make matters worse, Ricky suddenly finds himself unable to understand the prior two Heart Scrolls, though he can’t recall what’s changed. Panic sets in as he grasps for some rational explanation, only to discover more questions where answers should be. As Ricky’s future hangs in the balance, the true nature of Usagi and his “curse” becomes all too clear. In a desperate attempt to control his fate, he finds a glimmer of hope when he realizes that salvation for himself and everyone he loves lies in a single riddle yet to be resolved.
